April 9, 2020 ~ Maundy Thursday
Posted under: Lent
Welcome! The theme for our evening Lenten services is, “The Son of God Goes Forth to War.” We recognize during these 40 days of Lent that Jesus fought the war against the devil for our salvation from sin.
Tonight's service focus is this: The Battle is Personal. The devil influenced the person of Judas to betray Jesus. The devil often also influences us to sin. But the good news and a significant point of this service is that our Savior loves us every day of our lives! His love for us comes to use in various ways and leads us to stand up against evil.

— Personal prayer before worship: Dear Jesus, you willingly went to the cross because you love me, even though I allow the devil to sneakily lead me astray into sin. Forgive me for letting my guard down. Let your love for me prepare me for spiritual battle with the devil. To you alone be the glory! Through your name I pray. Amen.
The service is printed in this bulletin. God bless your worship via online means this evening.
