Our Mission...... As men, women, and children united in faith in Christ Jesus, we believe he commanded us to “go and make disciples.” We therefore will proclaim the Gospel of Christ through our words and actions to the community, campus, and others. We will teach God’s word in its truth and purity to help each other grow and mature in faith preparing us, God’s people, for “works of service.”

A Special thank you to Pastor Tom Kutz for bringing us God's Word today.
Sermon Based off of John 20:19-31
Jesus appears to his disciples, first on Easter evening and then a week later. Thomas, who was absent on the first occasion, is present on the second, and he responds in faith. "These" - all that John had written in this Gospel - "are written that you may believe"
Pastor Clayton Welch, Easter 2, John 20:19-31
On Easter evening, the glorified Jesus appeared to his disciples and announced peace to them. When Thomas refused to believe, Jesus, in love, appeared a second time to convince him of the resurrection and to repeat his message of peace. In love, God gives us his Word that we might also believe and have life in his name.

John 8:12 Jesus...said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows mewill never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
Does peoples skepticism keep John 3:16 off our lips? May familiarity not breed contempt with us! We do not need to come up with some novel, smooth, or mathematical way to preach on this reading for you. Sharing the Word was good enough for Jesus, and it's good enough for us.
Almighty and everlasting God, give us an increase of faith, hope, and love; and, that we may obtain what you promise, make us love what you command; through Jesus Christ, your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen
Welcome to all worshipers of Jesus! To know Christ in faith is the meaning and purpose of this life. Jesus tells the parable of a "fool" who thought the amount of material possessions he had were what gave his life value. The writer of Ecclesiastes and Paul also warn against letting the things of this world blind us to our real goal- eternal life.
